What is an open ticket, and how can I use it?

An open ticket is a flexible option you can request if you need to reschedule but don’t yet know your new travel date. An open ticket is not valid until it is activated.

To activate:

1. Log in to your account and select a new travel date to receive a new e-ticket.

2. If you don’t have an account, please create one using the same email address you used for booking, then log in to select a new date and receive your e-ticket.

Important notes:

Open tickets may be subject to additional charges if the fare has increased.

They must be used within 1 calendar year from the original purchase date.

They must be used with the same travel provider, on the same route, and in the same direction.

Can I get a refund or cancel my bus ticket?

Bus tickets are non-refundable and cannot be canceled.

Duplicate bookings are non-refundable

Tickets may be rescheduled before the scheduled departure time or converted into an open ticket if you cannot travel as originally planned.

The traveler’s name can be changed before departure.

Can I change the passenger’s name after booking?

Yes. The passenger’s name can be changed. Simply send us a request at [email protected], and once the change is processed, a new e-ticket will be issued to you. 

Can I change my email address after booking?

Yes. Your contact email can be updated. Please send us a request at [email protected], and our customer service team will assist with the change. 

Do I need to print out my e-ticket?

A printout is not required; you may simply present your e-ticket to the driver. The e-ticket can be accessed through the confirmation email we sent to you, or by logging into your account in the CoachRun app or website. Either option is acceptable. 

If I miss my bus, can I reschedule or get money back?

No. If you miss your bus, the ticket will be expired and invalid. It is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. You will need to purchase a new ticket for your trip. 

How can I reschedule the bus ticket by myself?

Please click “Reschedule Bus Ticket” on our website or app to view the guidelines and complete the process.

What should I do if I have not received my e-tickets?

If you did not receive your e-ticket after purchase, please create an account to manage your tickets directly. You may also use the e-ticket self-retrieval function to access your ticket.
